Indigo (formerly Independent Living Centre Western Australia) provides independent assistive technology information and advice, assessment, therapy services, training and events that enable Australians of all ages and abilities to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
Indigo’s Experience Centre is also home to 1,000 assistive technology models from suppliers across Australia.

Indigo Services
Schedule an appointment with one of our allied health professionals to go through what assistive technology solutions would be best suited for you. Our recommendations are independent and unbiased, based on objective clinical criteria and product feature matching.
Short term hires are available for quality equipment including Assistive Augmentative Communication (AAC) devices, iPads with communication apps, switches and mounts.
Work in partnership with our experienced Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Speech Therapists to achieve your goals.
Our dedicated team of Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists implement the latest assistive technology and communication aids with students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities to thrive in the school environment.
Occupational Therapy Driver Assessments
If you have a condition or disability that may affect your ability to drive, we offer assessments conducted by driver trained occupational therapists for both cars and commercial vehicles. These include recommendations for vehicle modifications or remedial driving lessons.
Need structural, layout or fitting changes to your home for safety or improved independence? We provide both assessment and supply of modifications, including planning approvals.
Want to further develop your knowledge and skills in assistive technology, communication or home modifications? Indigo offers a range of professional development and information training sessions either face to face or via videoconferencing.
